Belinda Mahony (pronounced mah-nee) is a powerful vocalist and seasoned performer whose voice has been described as magical, inspiring, and extraordinary. With a career shaped by resilience and passion, Belinda has captivated audiences across Australia and internationally, leaving lasting impressions on peers, celebrities, and fans alike.

Known for her commanding stage presence and heartfelt interpretations, Belinda’s performances reflect both her lived experiences and her innate ability to connect with audiences. To listen to her sing is not only to hear a remarkable voice, but to be genuinely moved.

Her talent has drawn praise from some of the most recognisable names in music and entertainment — Bruce Woodley of The Seekers admired her heartfelt performances, Cornelia Francis (Morag from Home and Away) expressed her affection and support, while media icons including Jessica Rowe, who called her “an absolute inspiration – your spirit, passion, energy and extraordinary voice is fantastic,” and Peter Overton (60 Minutes), who described her as “an inspiration,” have celebrated her artistry. Stage legend Stuart Wagstaff summed it up simply: “Belinda, you are magical.”

She has performed at prestigious events including Ignite the Dream at Crown Palms, Melbourne (with James Morrison), the Scope Ball at Myer Mural Hall (with The Ten Tenors), the Wizard of Oz Festival in the USA, the Variety International Convention in Sydney, and The Seekers – The Carnival Continues at the Victorian Arts Centre. Her appearances also include the International Day for People with Disability at Federation Square, the Special Olympics Annual Dinner in Sydney, the Annual Motorline Variety Entertainers Ball at Brisbane Convention Centre, the AFL Grand Final Luncheon at Palladium Ballroom Crown Towers, and Johnny Young’s Let Me Entertain You Christmas Variety Concert at Jupiter’s Casino.

Belinda has also been recognised formally for her achievements, serving as an Ambassador for Variety Queensland and receiving the Australian Centenary of Federation Award. Her story is one of determination and triumph: despite personal challenges, she has built a reputation as a confident, passionate, and deeply moving performer who brings raw emotion and authenticity to every song.
